Chas Salmore, CEO

Chas Salmore, a 25-year veteran of the entertainment and marketing industry, is the Founder and CEO of Marketingworks, Inc., (“MWKS”), a leader in social-media marketing and digital word-of-mouth influence. Over the past nine years, Chas has successfully generated gross revenues in excess of $95MM from interactive marketing campaigns and innovative sales strategies. As a popular lecturer and thought-leader, Chas contributes articles to many industry trade publications and speaks at numerous conferences on emerging trends in social media marketing. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and UCLA’s prestigious Film/Television department.

Aaron Moskowitz, Chief Digital Officer

Aaron Moskowitz is an accomplished Strategic Marketing Professional Quantitative Analysis – Web Development – Business Development Marketing Professional focused on driving business goals while incorporating appropriate Marketing action for successful delivery. He is a results-oriented professional with an emphasis on completing projects on time and on budget. He possesses a strong understanding of emerging and innovative marketing as well as economic technologies and trends. Mr. Moskowitz is an expert at fusing marketing, economic and business principles as demonstrated by the dynamic combination of a Pepperdine University MBA and successful marketing programs.

Michael Tanenbaum, VP Digital Strategy

Michael Tanenbaum is a Los Angeles-based brand strategist and digital marketing professional. He has over a decade of consulting experience deploying branding, marketing and creative campaigns in the digital space for major corporations, startup businesses and non-profit organizations, including The Walt Disney Company, Applebee’s, Abraxis Bioscience, The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic, Pepperdine University and actress Mariel Hemingway. His consulting is hands-on with an emphasis on business results rather than the underlying technology. He also holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA from The University of Chicago.

Kendi Tolentino, Director, Client Services

Kendi Tolentino graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior with a minor in Film and Media Studies. She is passionate about education, sports, music, environment, pop-culture, fashion, and beauty. For many years she’s been an avid social media user and has extensive experience with Facebook and Twitter. She originally joined MWKS as an Outreach Expert and was recently promoted to Director of Client Services, overseeing numerous campaigns for a variety of clients and supervising our outreach experts.

Melissa Buffa, Director, Client Activation

Melissa Buffa has been working in the digital word of mouth marketing industry for several years, including projects for highly recognized CPG clients, events, beauty, and fashion. She also has deep campaign experience with tech, tourism and healthcare accounts. Along with Kendi, Melissa originally joined MWKS as an Outreach Expert working on tourism, entertainment and retail campaigns. In addition to managing account services, Melissa is a Facebook and Twitter fanatic, keeping her target audience updated on a daily basis with new information.

Crystal Bryan, Public Relations Specialist

Crystal Bryan hails from the Pacific Northwest. Fueled by her passion for working with artists, she made the (albeit short) pilgrimage to Los Angeles in 2007. Crystal has represented clients in industries as varied as music, feature films, home entertainment, television, fashion, health products, nightlife, video games, hospitality, restaurants and lifestyles. Some of her past campaigns included managing assets and analytics for clients such as 20th Century Fox, MGM, Warner Bros., MTV, FX, Trojan, Capriotti’s, Campbell’s Soup, Bayer, THQ, TITAN Luggage and Procter & Gamble.
