Howard Kaushansky, Advisor

Howard Kaushansky is a serial entrepreneur in the data mining space. He has founded or co-founded three tech start-ups (30dB, Umbria and Athene Software) and was a senior executive in a fourth data mining start-up (Coral Systems). Howard navigated Umbria, Athene and Coral to sale to public entities and is currently working on launching 30dB. His expertise spans many aspects of company operations including strategic vision, corporate and venture financing, operations and sales.  Howard holds several patents and has spoken and written frequently in the areas of data mining, customer relationship management and predictive analytics.  He received his B.A. from UCLA and his J.D. from USC.

David Segura, Advisor

David Segura is an experienced digital media executive with deep expertise in both the Internet and Mobile industries. He is currently CEO of Giant Media, a leading video syndication company. Prior to his current position, David served as the Director of Business Development at Comedy.com, a venture capital-backed online publisher where he managed business development, partnerships and traffic acquisition strategies. During his tenure at Comedy.com, David was instrumental in the site’s growth from 15K monthly visitors to upwards of 3M monthly visitors.

John Storer is currently General Manager of JK Montana, LLC a digital/media consulting firm which leverages an experienced network of affiliates and relationships in major media, Internet, advertising, telecom, legal and financial services. This, to develop business alliances for its clients with Fortune 500 and other strategic companies in the US and Asia. Mr. Storer has held positions at Homestore, Inc., RealNetworks, Comedy Central and Turner Broadcasting. He has also served as an Associate Producer for TV specials for ABC, NBC, CBS and a Producer for the Disney Channel.
